Live Story Telling Performance with Projections, Music and a Letter - 23’03”

With: Azim Azimi, Margherita Stancati

Produced by: Artericambi

In a one night performance the story of never existed composer is told the audience through visuals, audios and live storytelling. His musical composition method is through drawings - images and graphic systems - not using the traditional notation system. This rather peculiar method is used as a metaphor for the process related to art practice and the poetic of detachment. Subtly talking about medieval mysticism, Bach and Godot, the tale leads us above the surface where a never ending journey is lived by three other fictitious characters. Footage shot in four different unrecognizable countries (Iran, Turkey, Austria) works as a backdrop for this story. A typewritten letter from the composer's wife stands as an introduction to the performance, allowing the artist to talk about him.
